Support
We're a small team and we read every message.
Replies come from a person, usually within a few days. If you write from the address you signed in with, we can find your account faster.
If you need help now
MOMNT is a wellbeing tool, not medical care, and it never contacts anyone for you. If something feels wrong, please speak to your midwife or doctor.
In the US you can call or text the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-852-6262 at any time, or call or text 988. In an emergency, call 911.
Common questions
My score says "Not enough data yet"
MOMNT needs a few nights from your watch or ring before it can tell your usual apart from an unusual night. If you have just signed up, give it about a week. If it has been longer, open Settings › Connected data and check that sleep and heart data are coming through.
My wearable isn't sharing anything
MOMNT reads from Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android, so your ring or watch has to be writing to those first. Open its own app and check that syncing is on, then check MOMNT's access: on iPhone, Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › MOMNT. On Android, Health Connect › App permissions › MOMNT.
I can't sign in
MOMNT has no password. You enter your email and we send a six-digit code. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then try again after a minute. Codes expire, so use the newest one. Still stuck, email us.
I got a new phone
Install MOMNT, sign in with the same email, and your history comes back from your account.
Which wearables work?
Any ring or watch that shares sleep and heart data with Apple Health or Health Connect. That includes Apple Watch, Oura, Samsung Galaxy Ring and Watch, Fitbit and Ultrahuman. Some signals need newer hardware. Sleeping wrist temperature, for example, needs an Apple Watch Series 8 or later.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Open Settings › Delete account. If you had turned data sharing on and want that deleted too, email privacy@momnt.health from the address you signed in with before you delete the account, because afterwards it is no longer linked to you and we can't find it. The privacy policy sets all of this out in full.
Is MOMNT a medical device?
No. It is a wellbeing tool. It doesn't diagnose anything and it doesn't alert anyone. When your own answers suggest it, the app encourages you to talk to your midwife or doctor.
About the weekly check-in
The check-in uses two published questionnaires, unchanged and with credit to the people who created them:
Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS): Cox JL, Holden JM, Sagovsky R. Detection of postnatal depression. Development of the 10-item Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale. British Journal of Psychiatry. 1987;150:782–786.
GAD-7: Spitzer RL, Kroenke K, Williams JBW, Löwe B. A brief measure for assessing generalized anxiety disorder: the GAD-7. Archives of Internal Medicine. 2006;166(10):1092–1097.
Neither set of authors is connected with MOMNT, and neither has reviewed or endorsed it.
Reporting a problem
The quickest way is Settings › Send feedback in the app, which fills in your version and phone for us. Otherwise email support@momnt.health and tell us what you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
MOMNT is a wellbeing tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and does not alert anyone on your behalf.
