MOMNT

Terms of Use

Last updated October 17, 2026

MOMNT is a pregnancy wellbeing app. These terms are the agreement between you and MOMNT when you use the app or this website. Please read them. If you don't agree with them, don't use MOMNT.

Who MOMNT is for

MOMNT is for adults aged 18 and over. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18. MOMNT is not designed for or directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has an account, email support@momnt.health and we'll delete it.

MOMNT is written for people who are pregnant or who have recently given birth. You can use it at any stage, but the scores and the suggestions assume one of those two situations.

MOMNT is not medical care

MOMNT is a wellbeing tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for advice from your midwife, doctor or any other health professional, and it does not watch over you or alert anyone on your behalf.

Your Wellbeing Score is a summary of what your wearable recorded and what you told us in the weekly check-in. It is not a measurement of your health and it is not a second opinion. Never put off getting medical advice because of something MOMNT showed you, and never set aside advice from your midwife or doctor because of it.

Check with your midwife or doctor before starting any new exercise in pregnancy, including the ones MOMNT suggests.

If you are struggling right now, don't use MOMNT to decide what to do. In the US, call or text the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-852-6262, or call or text 988. In an emergency, call 911.

Your account

MOMNT needs an account, which is your email address and a six-digit code sent to it. Keep access to that mailbox to yourself, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. The account is for you alone. Please don't set one up for somebody else or answer the check-in on their behalf, because the score is built from your own history and means nothing if the history belongs to more than one person.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. What happens to your data when you do is set out in the privacy policy.

What you agree not to do

The questionnaires in the weekly check-in

MOMNT's weekly check-in uses two published questionnaires, unchanged and with credit to the people who created them:

Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS): Cox JL, Holden JM, Sagovsky R. Detection of postnatal depression. Development of the 10-item Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale. British Journal of Psychiatry. 1987;150:782–786.

GAD-7: Spitzer RL, Kroenke K, Williams JBW, Löwe B. A brief measure for assessing generalized anxiety disorder: the GAD-7. Archives of Internal Medicine. 2006;166(10):1092–1097.

Neither set of authors is connected with MOMNT, and neither has reviewed or endorsed it. MOMNT uses their questions; how it turns the answers into a score is MOMNT's own work.

Free during early access

MOMNT is free while we are getting started. We may add paid features later. If anything you already use is going to start costing money, we'll tell you first and you can decide then.

Changes to MOMNT

We may change, pause or stop MOMNT or any part of it. If we stop it for good, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to get a copy of your data before it goes.

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version here.

What we can't promise

We build MOMNT carefully, but we can't promise that it will always be available, that your wearable will always share its data, or that the score will suit every situation. MOMNT is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, MOMNT is not responsible for any loss that comes from using it or relying on it. Nothing here takes away a right you have that can't be taken away by law.
